M.A. - Ph.D. Christian Clinical Counseling

[CERTIFIED AS A "PREMIER" ACADEMIC INSTITUTION BY THE AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF CHRISTIAN THERAPISTS FOR THREE CONSECUTIVE YEARS]
Yes, it's really true: You can become a very well qualified professional for $3,750 plus the cost of books. If you are called by God, you will be used to heal wounded souls, and you can earn a professional living! We are a true ministry keeping our tuitions low. We care nothing about your credit history. We will accept reasonable monthly payments with a good-faith deposit of $150.

Dear Prospective Student, Warm greetings in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ. First I would like to assure you that you now have a unique opportunity to become a healer of souls—to be of real and lasting help to emotionally distressed people. Second, you can earn a professional living. You will be a doctor. You will receive what you need to support your family well. Your cost, $3,000, is less than a degree mill!

There is a very critical need for professional Christian counselors, and pastors, physicians, and many agencies are wishing for one right now. You can be that professional they are praying for.
I pledge to you very close personal interaction to share as much as possible what I have learned in nearly 30 years of continuous practice as a Christian psychotherapist. While our Seminary remains small, I myself am able to be your mentor and your friend. You may call me as often as you wish. (407-494-9823) from the beginning of your program to the end. Then continue to call so we can help you set up your professional practice.

You will learn to open yourself to the Holy Spirit, who is the only healer of wounded souls. You will gain confidence in your anointing to read hearts and discover quickly the root causes of emotional suffering. For three decades my main calling was as a healer. Now my calling is to equip others to do what the Lord has guided me to do. So my responsibility to God is to educate and to do so in a way that is more personal than any other method of teaching. Besides telephone, you can acquire Skype for free, and then we can have regular teleconferences. You can talk with other students and with our highly successful graduates. I invite you to examine some of my credentials as a therapist, educator, forensic expert, and author on the “Our President” page of this website. Finally, you can take advantage of a tuition amount which is almost ridiculously low. And yet you will benefit from a doctoral program that covers more vital topics than you can find at a traditional secular university. If you study well and daily surrender yourself to your God, you will discover that you are better equipped than many secular psychologists. Throughout this process, I am at your side. Your servant,Most Rev. Heyward B. Ewart, Ph.D., D.D., President and Academic Dean, Christian Clinical Counseling  .

THE PRELIMINARY REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS PROGRAM ARE:

1. A bachelor's degree or equivalent. Your work experience and existing knowledge may help qualify you. Unaccredited degrees and course work are acceptable depending upon content and scope. In some cases, when these factors are evaluated, we award a bachelor's degree first at no extra expense.

2. A firm personal belief that you have been called and gifted for this ministry. We maintain that human beings are by no means capable of understanding the soul. Christian psychotherapists must rely absolutely on the Holy Spirit to discern and inspire. However, we are commanded to "study to show thyself approved"; therefore, we must learn what is thought to be essential knowledge in the fields of psychology and psychiatry. The point is that knowledge, while necessary, is insufficient. If you are not called to this profession, you should pray and pray until you discover your true calling.

As you examine the curriculum below you will see that we emphasize the subject of abuse, trauma, and addictions much  more than traditional graduate programs. The reason is that perhaps 60 percent of the patients you encounter will have been abused, usually early in life. Also, abuse is the primary cause of addiction, whether to alcohol or to other drugs. An understanding of emotional trauma is required in order to help victims of abuse and people afflicted by addiction.
